Chapter 4 - Iterations
A core practice of agile development is the way in which tasks are planned and organized — generally referred to as iterative development. Whether referred to as sprints, timeboxes, or any other names, and iteration are generally short intervals of time where planning and development take place. The short cycles allow for better short-term estimates to be made, long-term plans to be adjusted, and frequent milestones to occur.
In AgileTrack, iterations are the mechanism for planning releases development schedules and measuring progress. This chapter deals with the aspects of managing iterations within AgileTrack, including scheduling, planning, tracking progress, and completion.
